This business has done substantial work on three of my vehicles. The pre work estimates have been accurate. The work was performed timely without failures or recurrence of problems. They fixed an issue with my Toyota Tundra that Toyota could not fix. They are not cheap but the price has been fair and clearly explained. I consider their work an investment in overall low cost transportation. My experience makes me believe this business is a substantial asset to the community.

I’d give a 0 if I could had a 2017 sti had a head gasket leak was told I needed a short block, they said they could do it for 3k well they sucked me in and when I got home and had someone that actually knows about Subarus look at the motor the block wasn’t even warped totally fixable so they charged me 12k and even tried to charge me twice for some things I’d give anything to have just pulled the car and took it to fastech do not take a tuned car here what’s funny is magically the turbo went out when they put it back together. Fastech is where you wanna take you car these guys are not performance shops. 12k later from a short block and the car still isn’t running perfect got my acess port back they were wanting me to not put it back on well I got it fixed and I plan on taking it to fastech to see what they’ve done I just don’t like I was lied to it went from 3k to 6k to 12k these guys are crooks plain and simple, even had my shift light on 4 grand and low and behold that’s when the lag would start so they’ve done something. If you have a tuned car go to a dyno no this place they will say anything to get you in the door the woman told me they had a dyno went in the shop no dyno to be found

Tyler, Unfortunately you are in a bad position on this 2017 Subaru WRX. Engine was overheated and we did quote you to tear the engine down to replace the Cylinder head gaskets. After we disassembled the engine we found that the engine short block was warped between the cylinders. We had you come to our shop to show you the measurement and it was out of specification according to Subaru Service Manual. We then gave you an exact price to replace short block and let you decide what direction you wanted to go. I am not sure how that is sucking you in. You agreed to replace the short block and we ordered the parts to replace your engine. After the repair the paperwork that came with engine stated that there was a break in period and the vehicle should not be driven at high RPM's during the break in period.. So it is true we did not drive your vehicle exceptionally hard during our testing procedures. It is also true that we turned your shift light to a lower RPM during the break in process to alert you if you had the RPM's too high. We did all of these items so we could give you a warranty on the engine. As far as your turbocharger situation since we did not drive the vehicle at full load we did not find that your turbo was making slightly under boost. Your turbocharger was most likely stressed during the overheating of the engine. I am not sure about your mentioning us having a dynamometer but that must have been a misunderstanding because we have never had one and do not plan on installing one. I also spoke with you and let you know I would see what I could do on the turbocharger job is you could bring it back to us but you live 4 hours away and stated you were going to take the job home and replace the turbocharger yourself. We take reviews very seriously and find them to be learning experiences. I appreciate you giving me guidance and we have learned many things from this process. We are not a tuning shop or we do not modify vehicles. We have changed our polices moving forward to help prevent similar situations in the future to help improve customer satisfaction.

From the first contact with their customer service/appointment receptionist my wife and I both felt an ultra rare sense of ease & trust to the personalized conversation explaining and physically showing us all that they accomplished in a remarkably quick time frame. Everything they do is transparent right down to sending you photographs of what they are working on, which was refreshing in today’s world ! My nature is not one given to trusting any commercial business, they erased my doubts at every stage of the repair process. They were sensitive to my budget, especially here at Christmas time. They are beyond efficient with the degree of cutting edge technology they implement in the diagnostic phase, the parts acquisition stage & the actual replace repair process. The only accurate way I can describe their interaction with us is to say exceptional, painless & honest. An accurate comparison would have to be how you are treated by the staff at Disney (who are world renown for their treatment of their patrons). I would suggest Walker Automative to everyone for any issue with their vehicle. They have my trust and my business from here to the end! One last remark, observing multiple employees I was so impressed by the work climate. Being a retired administrator I noticed multiple times how everyone I observed was HAPPY to be at work. Anyone that owned or ran a business would be exceptionally proud to have their climate in your company. They have a cutting edge position that incorporates a mobile diagnostic department that can even remove the stress of getting your vehicle to them if your situation calls for it. The very young man that runs it is a generational addition who displays a super tenacious work ethic and also that “genuine warmth” you rarely see any longer especially in the field of higher level technology. The lead mechanic also exhibited every trait you want as a consumer. He was happy to share his superior knowledge of foreign automobiles as I ask him a plethora of questions involving purchasing a vehicle in the future (something that “made them zero money”). Bottom line I’d send my mother, my wife, my daughter there with a automative need and feel 100% that they would be treated exceptionally.

This place was recommended by my co-workers and from the moment I sent them a message after hours they got back to me the next day I took my truck in for an inspection to find out what was going on with my Durango I was able to get my truck in and out within a day timeframe. Very professional business but they are definitely a money trap. We took them our car with an obvious need for a new radiator. No diagnostic needed or requested. Nobody mentioned it would cost to get a quote. They charged us a 100 dollars just to tell us what we already told them. The quote to replace the radiator and ac condenser was a ridiculous $2700. They also said we needed a new headlight which was just another $1,000. Be careful with these guys.
